do i need to distance myself from my friend?
Relationship Stress / by apple3pie

...See more i am 17. my best friend, who i met online and have known for years, is 14. in rhe past six months, we’ve gotten very close and call almost every day. they’ve helped me through hard things and i’ve helped them. earlier today, my friend said that we were soulmates, that they wanted to kiss me. they’ve said before they want to move in with me when we grow up. i have adhd and i have a hard time understanding my and other peoples feelings sometimes. i can’t tell the difference between platonic and romantic love. is my best friend in love with me? am i in love with them? if i am, or if they are, do i need to cut ties with them? my greatest fear is somehow taking advantage of them or their vulnerability. i would never ever do anything to hurt them and i know for sure i have no sexual interest in them. what do i do??? i’m so lost and afraid because i feel like this is the kind of thing some people get cancelled for. i have no nefarious intentions at all! i want the best for my friend and if that means cutting ties with them then i will. tldr; i think my best friend, who is 14, is in love with me, who is 17. do i need to cut ties with them?

...See more my family has made me go to a private christian school, one with students who are openly homophobic. i just really want to find people like me who i can relate to and who can relate to me, to have someone to talk to about these kinds of things because while the few friends i have that are supportive are very sweet, they just don't get it, and i would just really like other friends who are queer, yk? does anyone have any suggestions on how to find queer kids like me?

i feel as though i'll never be accepted.

...See more i feel like i'm never going to actually be accepted. my family is christian and obviously, homophobic. i won't ever be able to date the girl i love because my parents wouldn't ever permit it. if i ever came out, my relationship with my dad would shatter and we'd never be able to get along like we do now and that thought breaks me. my grandparents, who i share a really dear relationship with, would also be so ashamed in me and likely wouldn't even come to my wedding if i had one. these thoughts hurt so bad. if i was ever to be who i really am, i'd be sacrificing all my relationships and the dear memories i have with them. i don't want to lose those things. i don't want to lose the people i love. but they'll see me in a new light as soon as i tell them, and treat me as though i'm repulsive or some sort of joke. this is something that drags me down almost every day. just typing this out makes me want to sob. out of the few people i have told about my sexuality, at least half have rejected me and cut me out of their lives. it hurts so bad. what is it about me that's so disgusting that you feel the need push aside all of our past good memories and our close friendship to tell me that i'm going to burn in hell and then completely replace me? i feel so lost.

question about outward appearance ?

...See more first id like to say sorry if this is a bit of a weird or stupid question, im still trying to learn. im AFAB, but i don't fully like being,,, a girl, if that makes sense. but at the same time, i do. i absolutely enjoy dressing up in feminine ways and having a female appearance, but i don't exactly feel comfortable with being a woman, if that makes sense? i like going by she/her and they/them pronouns, theyre both good to me. am i just over thinking the whole thing? does how you want your appearance to look determine what you want your gender to be? sorry if it is a weird question, i just find myself a bit confused on all this, that's all. thank you for reading! :]
