...See more “Boys will be boys, just ignore them” Ignore the injustice brought on me On my siblings and kin How many more bruises must I shoulder How many more wayward glances must I be witnessed by? When will society finally step in and say ‘that's enough’? When will I be worthy enough to be protected instead of gawked at? How many more attempts must I take at my life? How many more tears must I shed? Hearing them laugh in their packs Rabid hyenas Making comments about my body Their cackles hurt my ears Man or bear? Well, will a bear blame it on my clothes? Will a bear say I was asking for it? Will a bear kill me so I wouldn’t tell a soul? My whole life I’ve been told to ignore it Ignore the pain Ignore the anger Ignore the bodies on top of mine. The hands under my skin Mapping out uncharted places The squeezes, the yelling, the pain Ignore it all Boys will be boys, right?

...See more TW//////////// Self harm There once was a boy with perfect skin, Not a freckle out of place.  Not too tan, not too fair. But as he grew older, his arms grew littered with wounds. His once perfect skin was now tainted with wounds That went deeper than the surface. The boy became revolted looking at his arms. The freckles now looked out of place amongst the scars.  The pale lines standing out against the rest of his skin.  A painful reminder,  That the past is not easily forgotten A broken porcelain doll can be fix,  but never returned to its once perfect and pure condition.  Tag: @Orange64

...See more Ever since I was a kid I've been told I was very empathetic towards others, I didn't really know what it meant but went along with it. But to be honest I never really felt empathy or guilt for others. I just said what I needed to say for them to shut up. To this day I struggle to realize that my actions have emotional impacts on others. Just last week, my mom was giving me a kiss on the forehead, saying not to hit her  (teasing me because I hit people if they startle me). Irrational me decided it'd be hilarious to punch her, which led to her slapping me back. I didn't feel any remorse for what I did, I knew it was wrong but I didn't really care. I was more engulfed in self pity than actual guilt. I still haven't even apologized because it just feels like empty words. I don't know if I'm going overkill for wanting to get tested for it, but I wanted to get some feedback here before asking my parents.

...See more Stop looking at me With those eyes  Stop looking through me Take me in at surface level Tell me i'm pretty Call me handsome Don’t look inside I don’t want you to see I don’t want to be vulnerable in front of you Your eyes make me feel naked They rip through my clothes and skin Leaving me raw I don’t want you to look inside It's a mess My body is sore and weak And my head is flooded with you I don’t want you to know How much I think of you How you have a physical effect on me You make my heart skip, and my stomach sick Do you notice how I follow you around Hanging out in groups i don’t know Just so I can be close you you If i could I’d cling to your side But that's weird I’m weird  That's why I don’t want you to look at me I don’t want you to see me  I want you to be infatuated by my looks With this version of me in your head Because I’m scared To let you in

...See more A few days ago, on Saturday, me and my family got into a big argument about trans people in sports. Me being trans myself, defended the fact that trans women are still women and that they should be able to play womens sports. My dad did not agree, to say the least. He said the trans women had an “unfair advantage” and even brought up Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer, referring to her as a “guy” and “he”. I corrected his use of pronouns saying that she uses she/her pronouns, which made him more upset and he stormed off. I haven’t officially come out as transgender but I’m sure they suspect. But this whole conversation makes me scared to actually tell them. I just don’t know what to do, I don’t want to upset my parents but I don’t think I can go by my deadname or she/her pronouns any longer. But my sister is only six and she's autistic so she doesn’t understand what transgender means. I don’t want to confuse her. I’m just so lost. I can’t hide this part of me forever, but I don’t know when the appropriate time is. I only have a few years before I start college and move out of the house.
