New Job...Good News, Right?

My dream job started becoming a nightmare 3 years ago. Foolishly I stayed, hoping things would get better....they got progressively worse. Last year around September,  my department was eliminated so they moved me to a different position.  I'm glad to still be employed but my new role is a living ***. I didn't get any proper training, my new boss is always disappointed in me and people are getting laid off so I'm wearing multiple hats and not getting compensated for it..I finally caved and started applying for jobs. I got an offer letter for one that pays almost double what I currently make. That should be exciting right? Well now I have imposter syndrome and feel like I don't deserve it and that I'll fail and get fired early on...I know I shouldn't be negative about it but idk...Maybe I'm just burned out

@ambitiousVase8607

you can do it and probably feel down due to your current situation.

Let it go and move to the next job.

Hey @ambitiousVase8607

Thank you for being so open and sharing all of this. What you have been though sounds incredibly heavy, and it makes sense that you're feeling burnt out.

That fact that another company has offered you nearly double pay says a lot about how much they see your value! Please be gentle with yourself and don't let the imposter syndrome win, you're not weak for feeling scared, this is a big change!

I know its been a few days since your last post so I wanted to see how you were feeling about everything today?

We are here if you ever want to talk things through.
