Hey, nice to meet you here. How are you?
You are not a disappointment. You are not alone. We are here. Sometimes we feel this way when our efforts are not seen. If we feel responsible for other's happiness, then also we may feel short.
You could always connect with a listener here and talk more if you wish. They could help you with more guidance. 🌿
There can be a number of reasons why you feel like you're a constant disappointment. But just know that just because I have listen a reason here that may apply to you does not mean you're a disappointment because being disappointed about something means an expectation was not met. Maybe you have high expectations for yourself and those expectations cause you to have a high standard. A standards so high that you, yourself, cannot satisfy or reach.
So that can make one feel disappointed in themselves. but let's say you don't have high expectations or standards for yourseld and that the disappointment is coming from external factors... like parents or relatives. First of all, it is not helpful or productive to fret about things you have no control over and it can hurt because your desired result is not coming true. Maybe you disappointed other people like family, friend,ps, relatives, or strangers because of the knowledge gap, issues in skills, issues in communication, lack of awareness, poor management (either the self or an project you are working on), a goal you could not or did not achieve, etc.
Holding onto things you have no control over is like trying to hold air. You have no control over where you will be born, your hair color, your eye color, which parents you will have, etc. and most especially how other people will treat and respond to you, but what you can control is your next move.
A next move in strategizing despite the failures and disappointments. Yes, you may have failed, but what next? What's your next move? Well, it doesn't have to involve achieving something. Achievements are nice but don't sacrifice your well-being just to achieve something non-essential. Some things feel "essential" because we want it so much like "I need that hello kitty earring!" but it's not actually a "need" that contributes positively for your survival, know what I mean?
Hopefully this helps. Hello from an MCGI 👋
