I had something exciting happen to me recently that I’m both happy and stressed about. The friends and some family I tell don’t seem as enthusiastic as I’d like them to me. I wish people were happier for me like I would be for them.

@drzombienoodles

I get it .......we have good news that we are excited by and others seem like "okay "...  did they know how excited you are about this?

We cannot control another persons responses.   I do not know whom these people are but if close friends or family I think it is OK to speak up and ask why they do not seem happy and excited by your news?      Understanding the reason make it better then assuming it is they just do not care.

Example:  a close friend had a chance to travel and ended up moving to another country ... while part of me is happy if they are.......... I  also know I most likely will only see them by video calls as I do not have money or time to travel that far so part of me not excited at their news.
