When do I just give up
My spouse of 11 years left me a month ago. With no return date. We share children and they don’t make much of an effort to speak or see the children. It’s been only 2x. They gave me $500 to help with kids/expenses.
their bills are still coming from our account (however they stopped depositing their checks) so I’m paying most of their bills.
they claimed that they are trying to repair and rebuild and come back ( at some point) but post all these things online about being done and losing hope.
there’s no secret that we have been struggling due to not spending any time together and fighting more often.
Iv been explaining the love that I need and asking the way they want to be loved to try and make our relationship grow. Iv purchased monthly date boxes and all 7 months of them are still in the package. . They take so long to return any text and feels like I’m. Bothering them.
I personally feel like I’m the only one trying and been the only one trying. Do I just file for child support and separation or hold out on the bit of hope I still have.

It IMO is better to move forward then backward ...... some people wait for partner to find themselves or whatever......... then filing for support later and they may just pay from filing time on not go back to time the person left.
Your partner is the one that left.... time waits for no one ..........that includes bills and kids need things........ digging yourself into a hole will create more problems for relationship .......even if they start trying to work on things.
filing will also IMO put them on a clock of deciding what they want or to seek help if needed not wait to sort things out ...
