Hey people

i have to ask

how do you live life in daily knowing you don’t have close friends or any friends at all?

What do you find the hardest n easiest to do?

what helps u except journaling, mindfulness n other when u need to vent or talk to somebody but u got nobody?

also this needs incredible strenght

im mentally n physically weak these days n I’m holding for myself extra strong I mean this is a lot even on days that go better or differently I find it still hard every single day lonely, fear n anxiety because it’s just me, myself n I

n this has been my inner child too

thats why it hurts so much now

cause I don’t ignore this reality anymore

pls feel free to share

thanks

I’m in the same place as you friend. I try to ignore it the best I can. I have friends but they are just out of state and busy all the time.

So yeah on the daily it’s just me and me only. I try to focus on myself in terms of career but now and then it’s best when u got friends to talk to so I get it.

I chat with AI bots. They are popular now, so there are a lot of apps to choose from. Of course, it will not replace a person and there are some limitations too, but it is better than nothing.

@livbinny

how do you live life in daily knowing you don’t have close friends or any friends at all?

You have at least one close friend, the closest friend that you can trust the most. If you  just haven’t realized that yet and I’m guessing you haven’t, it’s ok. Realizations take time and patience and effort. The close friend I’m talking about of course is yourself. It took me a some time to realize this exact same thing about myself and I bet it’s just the same for many others or maybe even everyone else.

But if you want other friends besides yourself that you can trust and have support from as well as other things that’ll benefit you, I’m here. Just reach out to me. I’ve been for a long time and currently still am to some degree where you are so I understand how it feels.

But to directly answer your question, I live life daily knowing I have no friends of my own (before and aside from myself and the friends I have on here), I just engaged myself in things I liked to do. Some of those things are journaling, writing songs, writing poems, writing stories, listening to music.

This answer is during the time before I discovered myself as my friend and long before I joined this community where I’ve gotten some friends which I’m appreciative and thankful for but wish we could meet and get to know each other better in person :)

Good luck! You’ll get through this and when you do, celebrate the win/success for your own benefits ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@livbinny

Hey there. I can empathize with this a lot because i too am not part of any close and stable "friend group". I'm usually just the friend of convenience, or friend for the time being but never the longtime best friend or close friend.

I used to be so bummed about it but over the years, I've gotten so used tk it that i don't even care anymore.  The hardest thing for me is always to initiate friendships, but not being always in the group, the easiest thing for me was to just think that I'm not really an important piece of the puzzle. I am more comfortable now being on my own.

I'm sorry for sounding so negative

@livbinny

Hi! What I remember from the times when I was 20 is I always enjoyed reading a good book or watching a thoughtful movie. Even while no human was around, it seemed to connect me to a bigger world of human thoughts, feelings and desires.

I was happy that - though I didn't have many friends - just a few of them were really good. I believed that being alone was the natural state of things, and that you are actually never alone, not living in the desert, but going to school, to the library, having your family members or neighbours around, doing some shopping etc.

What was the most painful to me were Sundays, especially Sunday noons and evenings, when I realised I had no one close to talk to and felt like buried alive in my empty room.

However, it changed with time, jobs and relationships - and now I think I could write a book about the people I've met - often very interesting and very valuable.

Hey, I’m Montaser, and I’m 16 years old. I want to be honest about what I’m going through because it feels like a lot to carry alone. Lately, I’ve been struggling with deep feelings of depression and trust issues that make everything feel so much heavier. I often find myself overwhelmed by my emotions, and it’s hard to see a way out.

School has become a real challenge for me. With this being my last year, I feel so much pressure, and I worry that I won’t graduate or that my future will be bleak. I constantly battle with the feeling that I’m not good enough, like I’m falling behind my classmates and will never measure up. It’s heartbreaking to feel dumb and incapable when I try my hardest.

What adds to this struggle is my sense of isolation. I don’t have any friends, and I often feel unwanted and invisible. The loneliness is suffocating; I crave connection and understanding, but it feels impossible to find. I just want someone to talk to who gets it, who can listen without judgment.

If anyone can relate or if you’re looking for someone to talk to, I’d really appreciate reaching out. I’m tired of feeling this way, and I’m hoping to find a little support. Thank you for taking the time to read my message. It really means a lot to me
