Wise words, and I love the graphic - helpful guidance that I hope many will really take in and incorporate into their lives. We can all use a little more compassion, and we all have the capacity to improve our ability to act compassionately.
@MidwesternCalmSeeker
Guidance is hard when sometimes We are not given the guidance in life. We all see trust in different ways because of how we were brought up
A year from now, Everything you are stressing about won't even matter.
@Smile207
I agree, after what transpired last year. slowly we will be able to go back to how our lives were or even better.
i hope that is true but. Ive been depressed for so many years.
I’m with you, but the things that make us depressed change year to year generally. I’m hoping the things bothering me this year will be different next year at least!
That’s probably true but then be another year older and wonder what I could have done differently to make it a better year after making mistakes along the way which is so har to accept
I totally agree. I used to think I was great at coping with traumatic experiences but the past few years I’ve been finding my traumas racing to the forefront of my thoughts every few seconds drowning me. And it was bothering me. I can’t control it and it got me in a Funk.
@pamharley003
Its difficult to build trust. I can't think of any sure ways to do that. I don't have very many people I can trust in my life. What I have done in the past is allow myself to feel vulnerable and then see how it goes. It usually doesn't go well. For the most part I can trust my husband. He has let me down but I can depend on him; not as much as I thought or would like to but I guess relationships are like that sometimes.
@affectionateCat9553
It is bdifficult to trust someone when that trust was broken. Trying to gain someone's trust after it has been broken it also hard. Once a trust is broken to me I tend to atch the person who broke it to see if their willing to change to regain it or how they present themself to me in not wanting to change
I feel sad while being 43, to share my observation about myself below:
I don’t know, maybe I am very stupid and silly to go by the books of the world.
the more I get hurt, the more I am defied, the more people show up with deception,
It results in me being more broken with every next incident.
I think, trusting a stranger is easy that trusting a relative, friend, or acquaintance.
I always privilege the next person, to give him/her the fullest of my trust.
Yet, I almost NEVER got the reciprocal response.
I try, to be more careful, to not let anyone further hurt me,
But I don’t know, since I am very stupid and silly,
I again let others abuse my trust.
I am sorry, but I am not an expert to advise anyone that how you can effectively trust anyone.
@FeureVox
I agree sometimes trusting those we do not know is easy becuase they ones we do know may judge us or put us down
@FeureVox im going through the same phase rn...let us learn together
