Can Mindfulness Improve Your Sleep?

Roughly 1 in 3 Americans say that the pandemic has impacted their sleep quality. About the same number say that they’re either sleeping less or having trouble falling asleep. Those figures come from an October 2020 survey conducted by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The story is much the same in Hong Kong, where a study also published in October 2020 in Sleep Medicine found that about one-third of the population has experienced insomnia or worsened sleep since the start of the outbreak.

Could mindfulness training help? A growing body of evidence suggests yes.
