HISTORY OF RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS DAY
One can never go wrong with kindness, and there can never be too much of it. The idea behind Random Act of Kindness Day is to cultivate feelings of kindness and brighten up someone’s day. Every small act of kindness is significant. It may seem like it doesn’t accomplish much but, just like the domino effect, one act of kindness can lead to more positive outcomes. Don’t hold back from uplifting others with compliments and compassion on this day.

Tomorrow I have to go to a memorial for my mom's best friend. I've been reaching out to her son to let him know I am here if he needs anything.
People have not shown kindness to me lately at all.
All I want is for someone to listen and tell me that I'm going to get through my depression and anxiety.
@Beatlemaniac75 I am not a Listener but have been dealing with depression for many years so feel free to tag me if you wish to communicate
I am just starting to climb out of a bad episode of severe depression so I don't have many answers but glad to share thoughts.

How do you do kindness for anyone else? Well one thing is to acknowledge them and smile and say hello.
Do others do kindness to you? Yes sometimes before I can react kindly they do so.
How can the team show you an act of kindness - just by pming me and saying hello is an act of kindness.
I do kindness when I get fast food through the drive through. I'll ask to pay the bill for the person behind me up to a set amount depending on what I can afford.

I love how you care for others. I did that once to a man in a place we were eating at. I saw him counting change to make sure he had enough to pay for his meal so instead I told the waitress that I would pay for his meal.
Yes! I know how it feels to count my change or be in line knowing I should probably not spend my money on fast food but I promised my little girl McDonald's as a reward for a job well done. I had someone help me out randomly and I have been paying it forward ever since. Than you for doing the same! It's a little thing that is not so little after all. :)
I do the same everyone deserves to feel special and to be loved.
Kindness and compassion is something I have been struggling with. Thank you for the reminder to work on bringing it back I to my life.
I am trying to think less and feel more. Getting in touch with my feelings is difficult. I don’t feel like doing anything. Sad.
It's ironic I gave someone my last dollar and I didn't even know what today was for kindness appreciation day or whatever it is and earlier this morning I saw a homeless couple I gave them a few cans of food forks shoes some clothing and like I said I had no idea that it was kind of appreciation day I love doing kindness and awesome things for people like that cuz that's how it should be around the world
Helping somebody with a act of kindness helps me with my anger and what get to me
Helping ppl makes me fill good i know that at that point I was there for someone

There are some who remind us of our past whether good or bad. To bring up a past event does not depend on how long ago it was, is wrong to do. Some people may use it as a crutch to throw us off of things to better themselves. I am teaching myself to learn from mistakes to make sure I do not do them again, and to move forward. Things done in the past are there for a reason. We need to deal with things happening now and look forward to the future.
