Tips/advice for dealing with burnout
I'm currently struggling with burnout. If I'm honest, I've been struggling with it for quite some time now, but in the last year it's been unbearable. Work is a big part of it (looking for a new job but it's slow going and I can't afford to quit without something else lines up). I've tried to add fun things in my off time to offset all the bad, but the relief is very temporary if at all. I've tried meditation, being more active, trying to take "off" time to rest shen I'm feeling especially bad, but there hadn't been any improvement with that either.
I'd love some tips/advice/ideas on how others have handles it and what has worked.

I'm not a doctor, but if you have felt that you're very tired more that 1/2 year it might be you have ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis).
I hear you and have been there .....the burned out feeling is not fixed with a couple of good weekend outings or vacation.
a new view point of life is not somewhere you can go but about HOW you look at items even .. your job / your home life etc.
IMO it is deeper it is inside........... looking and finding a new job may help but it could be a partial relief until the new becomes the everyday thing.
@tealberry212 Hi Teal! I hope you have been able to find something that works, but just to answer your question I have a post about burnout here. Hope something in there helps you!

@tealberry212 I wish there was more focus & study on this issue in general. It
seems like so many people are struggling with this right now. It was
something I had gone through at one point. I tried everything until
finally just rage-quitting. This is NOT recommended AT ALL. I should have
communicated more with my employer and probably inquired about a leave of
absence. Small amounts of time off here and there were not helping, but
the significant amount of time I took to heal between jobs at
that time did help tremendously.

Currently experiencing the same. It sounds like you're doing all you can at the moment. I will ask if you know why you've become so burnt out?
