Hi all this is my first ever post on a forum. I'm 32, not long before I hit 33. I definitely agree with some of you where in your 30's you are all of a sudden so much wiser. Things make much more sense and priorities become much clearer. I think when you hit 30 it feels kinda strange initially but you get used to it. Remember age is just a number, keep young at heart and do what you find fun! Here's to the awesome 30's!!! wink Love you all kiss

34 here. life mostly is better now than in my 20s (great boyfriend, friends, etc.) the only area i'm trying to work on is my work (either trying to find a different department with coworkers i have more in common with (i never want to have kids personally, but all my coworkers have kids and that's all they talk about) or finding a different company to work for, which is challenging when the company i've worked with for 10 years doesn't provide employment references, which is a common practice these days.

In my mid-30s... while I'm trying to make the best of life, but I'm not happy. Since my late teens/early 20s I've wanted to get married and have a wonderful family and that simply hasn't happened. I am thankful for the good things that have happened to me, but it's been a struggle and time feels like it's going by way too quick. I am working to make each and every day count more than ever.

Hello fellow 30somethings. My name is Kelli and I am 33 years old. I lost my Dad from an accidental overdose in 2007 and my Mom due to breast cancer in 2012. Since those experiences, I have found it more and more difficult to continue on a steady path of growth. It's almost like my adult life stunted after my Dad died and my Mom got sick (which was only about 6 months after my Dad passed away). I stopped working to take care of my Mom shortly after her diagnosis and she fought for 5 long years with the disease. But, since her passing, depression has crippled my life in so many ways, making me fearful of my shortcomings and failures that I predict happening before I even set foot out the door. I try to find the courage every day, but always seem to end up falling short. In my 20's, I didn't have that level of fear and sometimes I wonder if it will ever get any better.

Hi everyone. I'm Chiaroscuro. I'm deep in my thirties and my life is nothing like I thought it would be. What I do have is a cat, a family who loves me and 2 good friends. That is a lot to be grateful for. I enjoy being part of 7 Cups. It gives me a bit of direction.

I'll be 33 this Thursday. I'm pretty sure my thirties will be better than my teens or twenties. I've traveled a difficult road with depression and social anxiety. I've accomplished a lot for myself despite the hardships. I just have to work on caring enough about life to actively engage it. I'm not suicidal just feel a flat kind of apathy towards living.

Hi all. I'm 29 and few months so i belong here. I have huge disconnection between me and numbers so turning 30 have no meaning at all just like when i turned any previous age.

I don't act my age anyway. I'm my parents child. You know when they say the youngest child always remain the child of the family, well this is my situation. I have acute depression and i really hoped if it was a cute depression! Lol

I started to see therapist few months back. I wish to have a change in my life bcuz I'm stuck in the same situation for the past 10 years.

Glad to read all ur posts. Love u all who were born in 198 something
