Anxiety and body

My body has decided to reach out. I assume it wants me to slow down. Chest pains are awful and mind all over the place. Sometimes I feel I am watching a movie of myself. Be great to know if anyone else has this.

@sassy0808

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing chest pains and feeling like your mind is all over the place. It's important to take care of your health, both physical and mental, and it sounds like your body is trying to send you a message to slow down. While I'm not a medical professional, chest pains can be a sign of various conditions, so I would highly recommend that you consult with a doctor as soon as possible to rule out any serious issues. As for feeling like you're watching a film of yourself, that could be a symptom of dissociation, which can be related to anxiety or other mental health issues. It may be helpful to speak to a therapist or mental health professional to better understand and manage these feelings.

@Mya000 yes, this is a great response.

I was also going to mention disassociation.

@sassy0808 I thank you for posting here. I want you to know that you are not the only one feeling like this. Many people struggle with health issues and mental health illnesses and are afraid to talk about what they are experiencing. Like Mya said, I hope you will consider getting a consult from a professional, who would help you determine if the symptoms are due to a medical condition, anxiety, depression, or something else.

Thank you for listening to your body.

Hi @sassy0808 ! I'm sad to know that you are in such condition :( Have you ever tried breathing exercise to normalize your heartbeat and pain? I believe a breathing exercise will be a lot of help in these kinds of situation ;)

Yes! Our bodies speak. I recently had mine tell me I overdid things outside, my stomach swelled, I felt bloated and awful, and there was pain. Basically, I can’t keep pushing myself so hard. If your body is speaking, listening is smart, or we end up ill. We all need to be more loving with ourselves! 😊
