I am so sorry you are going through this. I am too. I am dealing with a spouse that doesn't recognize my feelings and he acts like he doesn't care. So it makes me sad. When I tell him that I am sad, he ignores what I say doesn't say a word! It sucks!

@Agni05 in a similar boat. They won't stop avoiding the issues or blaming me for everything or attacking me when I bring anything up. Or they're totally checked out and don't care then act like they care. Things are left neglected and unmaintained. I find little to no space to allow what I want in my life. They snap at a moment's notice. It's impossible to untangle.

My marriage is dead. Wife basically kicked me to the curb due to health issues. I haven’t been able to hold down a job due to illness. I live with chronic pain, low self esteem, and I’m horribly lonely. Divorce is around the corner. Not sure what will become of me afterwords.

Well it's not rlly me (im 13)...but it's my mom. I live with her so I know. I mean it's not too bad and it's not physical. But its very emotional. My dad kinda just chips away at her self confidence and self in general until she becomes exactly what he wants her to be. A puppet with a soul I guess. She told me that in the first she used to cry, but now she has just given up. She told me she gave up...Every single day, my dad tries to find some problem in my mom and he projects it in the worst way possible. When I was younger and I wasn't able to anything about it, it went so far that he stopped talking to her for weeks on a stretch, over a handkerchief.I blame it on his Gigantic EGO. No we are the ones who stop it. Every time my dad even looks at my mom, it's like he is looking for problems....like she is the problem. Honestly, it's not different for me and my sister either. He says horrible things to me. Since I defend my mom, everything falls on me. My self confidence has reduced to almost zero because of that. Also he keeps hitting or threatening to hit us. He even has this huge pvc pipe for it. But its normal in indian households so...yeah.beibg woth him is literally like walking on eggshells and I know that this is not the worst marriage...but I know it is definitely not the best.
