Hi

Has anybody experienced a break in their relationship? If so, what happened after?

I've recently pulled up my partner of 15 months because of the way his actions made me feel. His response was "I'm not sure how I feel about that, I think we should have a break". So now I'm in limbo, we're together but we're not. I'm confused on what I should be doing and feel a little lost.

A break should be a break explore items you want ..... maybe go out with friends and really self exam what is it you want...... do not think of the other person at all .... too many imo spend every little moment worried about what is the other person doing etc instead of really seeing if they can move on

i think breaks are a good thing but not if people do not grow with it.

What experience has taught, I'd move on. You can't put your emotions on hold for someone that clearly doesn't see building a secure relationship through the struggles together. Usually a break is intended to work on the self and then come back together with improvements. It is rarely the case.
