I don't know what your situation is but life can be gruelling without a friendly ear or support system in place.

I try to count my blessings that I have a roof over my head and money to buy groceries. Then I'll focus on what I do have, what passions make each day worthwhile.

Do you have any hobbies or interests that can bring some lightness?

Think about any goals you have and what you'll do to achieve them?

Are there any subjects or topics that speak to you?

When your day is full and you're engaged in something you genuinely care about, there is less time to think, not that your thoughts aren't important, because they are but life seems to carry on, with less heaviness in the heart :)

I have no idea what the actual situation is but I do feel lonely and alone more often than not and I guess it all comes down to counting what you do have and who actually is there and the reminder that things are not stagnant, they will change. just because there's a certain feeling or situation at the moment doesn't mean it's going to last forever.

Hi!

I don't know what your exact situation is, but I do know the loneliness of finding out that people you shared life and friendships with don't value or support you when you start experiencing a difficult time. For me, it took a long time and pain to let go. If you have invested emotions and time into people who don't care for you in return it can be really damaging to your health and sense of self.

My advice: first, if you feel safe, share your sense of abandonment with your family/social circle. Sometimes you do just need to verbally express your needs to get them met - if you are shut down or shamed then it might be time to mourn those connections and move on.

Just because you don't have people who care now does not mean that there are not people who CAN care about you.  There are extra challenges to creating new friends and support groups as you get older, but here are a few resources I found helpful. Hope you get the support you need and have fun building it. All the best!

I just enjoy that silence and loneliness.

It use to make me sad and even irritated when no body cares about you. But I just learn to enjoy my own presence, sometimes with my thoughts, with music, or just in silence.

I do still feel quite lonely, but I know God is there for me during struggles and hard times.

Keep on living and have hope in the future, more things will come. ( ͝° ͜ʖ͡°)ᕤ💗
