Looking for friends
Not sure where to start. I am looking for hopefully long time friends on here. I'm 35. Disabled so I have a hard time doing things. I also suffer from depression.
I also get attached easily and hurt easily which I'm working on.
When I'm not as depressed I like playing video games, drawing, watching tv. I do like going out, just prefer to go with friends.
As a friend I always try to be there.
I love animals, especially cats and foster them.
Right now I'm grieving my cat Hopper, and I feel so alone. I also realized I love hugs from people.
I've always been socially awkward, so I'm hoping to improve and even make friends near me down the line. (Not sure where to start near me if you know good places please let me know)
So if you're looking for a friend to chat with let's start. As I said I'm socially awkward so please let me know if I overshare or undershare.

Hi I love Cats too. I lost one about a year and a half and it tortured me still remembering the pain of losing a Cat but also a friend in that Cat.
I still have one though left. I don't treat my Cat as a pet. More of a family. :)

Your post resonated with me as you sound a lot like me, except I am not disabled. Well at least not physically. I am currently in remission from schizophrenia, so hopefully that won't put you off talking to me but it's ok otherwise. I am also 35, f, and into Nintendo games. I don't have a lot of friends other than my boyfriend. I talk to different girls on bumble bff sometimes near me but nothing has really come of it so guess I find it difficult to make friends. Must be a me problem and something I have to work on I guess.

Video games were all i needed to see to be friends what's up buddy what kind of games do u play??
@conscientiousRaspberries858 I'd love to be your friend! I'm not to picky about games. My favorite is Zelda, but I've played left 4 dead, harvest moon(most of them) pokemon, palia, runescape, Resident evil(can't remember which one) pikmin, mario, racing games and more. So I'm really not to picky. I'm not the best at shooting games but not the worse either. What games do you like?
Whats ur favourite pokemon? U played fallout if u like shooters u shud try borderlands
@conscientiousRaspberries858 For pokemon its a toss up between pikachu and kyogre. I think I've seen borderlands and it looks fun! What is your favorite pokemon?
Umbreon and Infernape, really fun mons and I like the design as well u shud try borderlands u can hmu if u ever wanna form a party to run through a playthrough

@conscientiousRaspberries858 We can be friends! I just listed my age as some people don't like older or younger friends. Some of my friends irl are in their 70's so I don't mind friending anyone.

Im 51 but I too love animals and my daughter has fostered many. We have three cats and three dogs. Many more have passed but we still have them in our hearts.

@SouthernCharm515 Tell your daughter I said thank you for fostering! It is hard work. I just got in 3 more from a 70 cat hoarder. We are trying to get them all but with my health I can only handle about 6 adult foster cats, which is what I have. It is so hard losing our pets. I wish they could live longer. But like you I keep them in my heart and think about them often.

How are you? How is the weather and what's the update of plants?
@communicativeJet616 I'm doing okay, trying to heal from an infection. I had a few growing indoors but they didn't take, not enough sun, the ones in my yard are slowly coming back from winter, one woke up early and decided to grow like a weed so we had to trim it. The weather keeps jumping from 60f to 20f. How are you doing?
