My relationship is on hiatus and don’t know what to do at this point
I (F45) and my boyfriend (M43) have been in a relationship for 3 and a half years. Right now, we have been on a break for 3 weeks. He doesn’t want to see me or talk to me and won’t tell me why. We have been communicating regularly over text message, but he doesn’t want to meet up in person to talk things over, but won’t break up with me. I have asked several times to meet and talk. He won’t budge on it. He won’t tell me what’s going on. I would like to get him to agree to talk with me. I still want to be in this relationship, but not sure what to do from here.

It’s completely understandable that you want clarity, especially after 3 and a half years together. The fact that your boyfriend is avoiding meeting up or explaining why he wants this break must be so frustrating and hurtful, especially when you’re trying to communicate and resolve things.
