What is the definition of love to you guys?
Outside of familial love, love is when I feel secure and inspired by them. When I become a better version of myself, when my character is shaped by their presence but not dependent entirely on them, when even years of not interacting directly, their presence remains ingrained with you even the bad ones, when i want to be their anchor. The very thought of removing them from my life would be as if it's also removing parts of me.

@Takemetolalaland Wouldn't know since I'm mostly feel nothing other than the negative feelings/thoughts that i have everyday.
Love means to sacrifice. If you complain or expect something then it's selfish. We are all here to learn how to love. Every soul goes through many lifetimes of suffering to learn how to become love.
I agree with you, especially since love does not mean total dependence. Each of them should have aspects of their life that depend on him only. Also, not all people find true love.

Love for me is freedom! I don't mean freedom to do self destructive things. I mean freedom to find the best things like love, peace, harmony, time, space, ideas, and so on. the things that make a difference in our lives. that is love .... what makes us better in everyway ... the freedom that liberates your from old fears .. from being forgotten, from being unseen, from being dismissed, from being mistreated ... the freedom that releases your from old pains whether they are physical or mental or even chemical ... I mean the freedom to exist without having to explain it to anyone.

Love is when someone chooses to stay by your side because of you, your company, and wanna knoe from you, hear from you and keeps interested into you.
Not because of what you offer or what you can do for them or single sided speak and vent about themselves.
to me its loyalty, trust and partnership. Its understanding and its caring. Love is supportive.

I dont believe in true love or some fairytale. I've been in love and its painful.
