@rahmasabry777

It would make me feel suffocated.

Not trusted.

That my partner was insecure or over compensating.

Most people don't have the same ideas and ways of showing affection , so communication, honesty and balance are key 💜💕

@RVY7 going through this myself right now.

I'm sorry to hear that you are as well.

It is very suffocating it is very mentally draining and exhausting. I frequently want to take breaks or time outside I should say from my partner due to the amount of exhaustion their non-stop affection causes.

I think the red flag at the top of the post says it all

I would run. Feel trapped. People can be together in a relationship but they are allowed to be their own person. Compliment the love and good in each other.

@RVY7

I suppose it depends on the type of attention.

Question: What does excessive attention from a partner do to a relationship?

My personal answer: I have never experienced excessive attention from a partner.

I think it may largely depend on what we expect from a particular person. For example: If someone starts calling me "Honey" too early on, and takes everything as settled, sometimes it may make me step back, but sometimes it can work as an encouragement to be more open.
