Should we choose logical decisions or decisions that make us happy despite their illogicality?

@RVY7

Is it logical to play in sand or run on a slippery surface? Kids do that anyway, and are the happiest, even if their clothes get dirty or they have a fall flat on their face, lol yes the latter would make them cry but they’ll eventually get up, make an adorable whiny face and start running again.

@RVY7

Sometimes we need logic to avoid consequences, and sometimes happiness is worth the risk even if the decision is illogical.

Well i think one should think

Is it worth it ?

If yes then definitely do what makes you happy

If the consequences are too much then leave it

I guess it matters on the context. Will doing something logical, even if it's tough at first make us happy in the future or is good for us? Then logical it is.

There's nothing wrong with making choices that make you happy, I guess the real struggle is doing unhappy and logical things which cannot be avoided.
