Complete and total lack of a sex life
Well....I guess that title says it all, right? 48yr old, married 21 years and counting to my wife, 40 yrs. When we were first married, she was awesome in bed. Nearly every request was granted. She did almost anything I suggested. Think it was better when her parents didn't live with us. I lost a very good paying job, and the 2 families moved in together. We figured together, we could afford more. Oh, before I forget, she and I have 4 kids. Fast forward to the year 2013. Had a motorcycle wreck that nearly killed me. Coma for 2 weeks. Diagnosed TBI and bipolar. And post 2013, our sex, which I enjoyed, flat out stopped. Not slowed. Not changed. Stopped. We've tried once or twice, but things are just.....different. could use some advice here. Have NO idea what direction to go. Wife has no insurance, so therapy may be a non starter. Help. Please.
Have you guys talked about why it stopped? Has she ever mentioned anything? Like if something bothers her or if she's having issues ?
Well...........In my case I am alone and lookinfg for someone to come in my life......what you guys think of I am 43 male.....do you think i should go for having new life partner in this age or i should live my life as it is ??
@PeepDaddy I agree with the @yourstrulykay. First, you guys should talk to each other, and then any therapy should come in between if there is any requirement of that. As I understand you guys have no issues and you can restart and live a happy married life again. I have read so many solutions about such issues on Enhance Club. Maybe you like it.
@peepdaddy that is so hard. But common after 21 years. It’s kinda crazy to think that we’re expected to maintain hot sex lives in monogamous partnerships year after year. I wonder if you know about the Dipsea app. It’s audio focused with short sexy stories and also guided exercises you can do alone or with a partner. Some content is geared to lead to sex and others toward feeling connected in other ways. Check it out and good luck. You are not alone.
