Isolated by my own fear and now completely alone

Hello. I’m a 36 year old mom. I’ve been married twice. Divorced twice. I kept my circle small. In fact I don’t have a single friend in my phone or personal contacts to talk to. My relationship is struggling beyond belief, my parents and I had a falling out in October. My only brother isolated himself from our family over 6 years ago. I’m alone, empty. Struggling.

I can totally understand how you are feeling. I don't associate with any of my family members. It wasn't until I was completely alone that I found myself and now I'm rebuilding the real me. Life kind of does a wash.. and it can be a wonderful thing. Allow time to heal from whatever you need to.. slowly allow others back in and keep the toxic ones away. Do something nice for yourself. Or learn a new hobby you always wanted to try.. find you and others will come. Like you are doing with this message.. You're not alone and everything is going to be alright. It will work itself out. Hugs to you.

Thank you for sharing , i have experienced so much of what you shared and i can relate to it becasue i have lived most of it for sometime not so far from today ,and i learned that there is more to life than what i thought and that my fear of failing and disappointment was pushing me away from exploring out my true potential, and i learned the most peolel feel tge same too and if we really take time to find new ways to live our passions within our selves and learn more about what our souls really desires to fulfill we will find its possible and right infront of us. yes, isolation is painful most of the time, and i always thought that maitaining all types of friendships and being around others are the answer to my happiness, but i learned that loneliness could also be a chance to read a good book ( and some books saved my soul from diving into darkness ) and yes, loneliness is cruel at the most, but i believe one good true friend worths way more than a crowd of people that i cannot relate to or feel safe with, and above all i believe we are all so lucky to exist in such a kind and supportive community such as 7 cups of tea , here i can be my authentic self without any fear of judgment and i hope you would find some meaningful moments here as will , here you can always reach out to others about you fears and feelings and i promise you that soon you will find a perspective that will bring you closer to more comfortable state. Please , do not hasitate to share more anytime, we are all here to support each other .

Hang in there! Not having someone is tough, especially your family. But that doesn't mean your life is over, it's just moving into a new chapter. At first it's uncomfortable but soon it will be your new normal and that's ok💕 Here if you need me

I totally relate to a lot of what you have said. I’m I’m 38 and don’t have any real true friends anymore. Plus finding them these days is so much harder.
