Hi there. Wanna chat?
Hi
Hello
@cuddlyForest5123
sorry but you're name is so cute!
Of course way not
Sorry i was at work
how are you today
@diggindeep
what's up digging deep? You doing ok?
@diggindeep
I meant "Diggin Deep". It Kind of has a dual meaning to me. Digging deep to get answers and Dug in deep to hold fast and persevere. (Not sure if that's what it could mean but I like it. 👍)
@IsayUncle yes, l agree, those are great ways to interpret it! I like the way you're thinking!
Hi there hope your well
hi diggin hope all is good
It is both. Good eye on the double meaning and it explains exactly where i am.
@diggindeep
You're doing good! This app/site takes a while to use to but I think it's worth it. The delay in responses takes some getting used to, as everyone has different schedules but other than that, it's pretty awesome.
So, what's got ya diggin in? (or we can talk about anything else if you want)
It's the end of my day so if you don't hear from me this evening, I'll check your post in the AM, ok. 😉
that helps abunch thanks
my spouse of 15 years has shut me out
about halfway through our marriage is when i
began the long road of facing my mental health issues and began my sobriety
she stuck by my side through all the pain and said she would never leave i had gotten a lil better and started working again and then i started traveling for work and my spouse hasn’t left but they are not there either
i try to talk to them and they start throwing the past in my face and a part of me says they arent wrong
@diggindeep
Hey, Wishing you a gentle morning,
Thanks for sharing. That sounds pretty hard and kind of scary with a lot of uncertainty and doubt. How long has your spouse shut you out and what does that mean... out of the home? .... or shut you out emotionally?
I know it hurts a lot so try to hang in there and work through it. I'm not sure how long it has been but time and diligence has a way of working things out. Mostly, go easy on yourself as you work through this. You can get your balance back. You can do it!
I'll check back later and would like to know how you are doing today.
For about 3 months it is both an emotional and physical shut out like they cringe if i touch them and have a smirk when i have tears
its hard when they tell you they have met with your dr and know what you need support wise
but then you dont feel supported i feel abandoned
but not for what im doing now which is work come home and repeat but i did do
I appreciate the ears and the advice
@diggindeep
I can totally see how much that can hurt. I'm sorry you are going through these hard times.
Can I ask you a question? When you say, "they or them", do you have children or more than one spouse? (perhaps you're using a translater?) You don't have to answer if it's not comfortable to share.
Having a job to go to is really good during these times. It may seem hard to go sometimes but it does offer structure and value to you personally so I'm glad to hear you got your job.
@diggindeep
For Your Information: (FYI). This app/site allows for "5 replies" and then resets to not having a reply button. It's ok if there is not a reply button, just go to the bottom of the page and "post to this thread". then we could reply again 5 more times...and on and on. (Hope this helps understand no reply button)
If you tag me by using the (@) symbol in front of my username, I'll get notified of your post.
Example: @IsayUncle
@diggindeep
That makes sense. Thx.
@diggindeep
Hey, how's it going?
@diggindeep
Hi Diggin, I just saw another post using they/them and now I understand better. (Feeling pretty dumb😢). You haven't responded lately but I wanted to say "Hey again" and if you still want to chat, I'm all ears. And I'm sorry for the confusion. I hope you managed the start of your weekend well and have a real good day today.
I'm tryng to learn about trees. What might some of your interests be?
