What a great post idea... My biggest thing is I'm not very good at cleaning up like I use to be... so, to get back in the swing, I choose one section to organize and clean up. I picture in my mind how it will look when that space 'is fixed" and how I will feel seeing it that way. Brings more calm and more clearer thinking space. So, I'm a work in progress... (key word is 'progress' not perfection).

Cleaning is going one step at a time today.

Thanks so much 🩵 so I am stuck as I was in hospital after trauma ND when I gave up on life and just a lot of things etc. Now my mother has had me staying with me and makes me believe I am incapable of moving out. She doesn't want me to move out. And if I stand up to her she says have I drank my pills in an ugly way as if I am saying things that are not in her control she makes me feel mad. So I am stuck because she is very controlling. I grew up in a cult so control was an issue my whole life. I left at 18 but then after I got raped it was the last straw after all that abuse there. Now I am stuck. Because I work for my mom, My money goes straight to her and the rent and food etc. She takes it directly out of my salary. And she threatened my job and my livelihood and everything today. Because I stood up today. She got angry and really shouted a lot. I need to move. I just have no credit score as I never have taken out a loan. I also have no plan b except that I opened a fashion brand about a month ago but it is still needing to take off and I can't lean on it for daily bills. Thank you kindly. The next step is: sorting my emotions and working through my past diligence trying for the first time so I can be strong enough to face my life challenges in the future without giving up again. It is stopping my success. Thank you 🫂❤️‍🩹🩵

What is YOUR ONE thing YOU can do???

I can do some writing, finally. I did write one thing recently, about a major aspect of my life, and one of the major effects the abuse had on me. It turned into an 18-page Word document. I wish I could post it on this website, because I think it says a lot, explains a lot, and there would be other men who could relate to it. Women could read it and understand men better, or at least men who have been abused in any way. I'm not saying I can speak for all men, but I think there are some who would understand.
