Daily challenge - August 15 - 2018
Today's challenge is:
Take a walk rain or shine and then come back and tell us how your walk was. What kinds of things did you discover? Did it help clear your mind?
I took a walk earlier today before it got to hot and I enjoyed looking at everyones flowers and some places I could also see how everyones gardens are growing. No neighbors were up yet so didn't talk to anyone today like my afternoon walks.

Hi Dana, I took a walk around the garden early in the morning, felt the healthy warmth of the sun, checked my plants and trees and it made me feel connected to nature, felt good.
@amiablePeace77
That is really great that you have a garden and feeling that healthy warmth of the sun. What type of plants and trees do you have? I am trying to grow apple trees in my front yard but the deer seem to think they are hungry for the apples. Hope you don't have the same issue.
@DanaMH
Sorry to hear that the deers are giving you trouble, maybe put a sign there "apple trees for Dana" and teach them to read
. We do not have deers but monkeys and those guys are very smart, they even watch you and learn how to get stuff (if you e.g. cover it) hehe. Growing fruit trees like guava, golden apples etc. and others like moringa, curry leaf tree and of course vegetable for the monkeys, the birds, the snails, and and and, yes, and for us
- sharing is caring
I started an art project today while on my walk. But I had carpal tunnel surgery on Friday and I shouldn't push myself too hard. I got it to "just okay" and stopped. This is what the new Martin Luther King Library 2 blocks away will look like when finished in October.
I took 20 photos and made a Photoshop collage.

It's one of those things where maybe "just okey" is a masterpiece?
@Positron2
I wish you a good recovery Positron. Amazing photos, very interesting!
@Positron2
Those are amazing photos that you took on your walk and a great art idea also as a coping skill. Hope you heel quickly from your surgery.
@Positron2 very creative thanks for sharing.
@Positron2 This is amazing! It is very nice to know that you are taking it slowly - keep it up!
@Positron2
loved your pictures! Speedy recovery...
