Today's challenge is:

Get up 20 minutes earlier than your regular time. You would be amazed what you could do. Like fold those towels in the dryer or something else.

What are you doing with your extra 20 minutes?

What I ended up doing was putting air in my tires. One had gone flat overnight. Arrgh.

@SoulfullyAButterfly, I did have enough time. I think I will take it in to the dealership. I leased the car about 3 months ago.

Sorry to hear that. I have had that happen before and it is not fun at all. I hope you weren't late going some where.

@DanaMH Thanks. It is not fun at all at 6:30 in the morning. Fortunately, I was not late at all.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

That is good to hear. What type of quizes did you have and was this for your school?

@DanaMH

Oh yes, at university, we are bound to have lots of pop-quizes or presentations for various Psychology courses, so we had a pop-presentation, and I was actually called on to explain the role of various people, and luckily my constant revision paid off and I was graded well and succeeded in playing "teacher" not always a "fun" task, but serves well to check your own studying.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

That is amazing and I agree that "teacher" part is hard sometimes with some folks. It is kind of like when we have our 1st child we learn from those trials and errors and do a better job on the 2nd child. Teachers are amazing since they get to fill students with lots of new things and knowledge.

@soulsings

That is good to hear that you are using your time wisely. :) Sometimes we like to catch up several times a day also with folks due to time differences so those 20 minutes might help you on other days also.

I managed to watch a little bit of a show that I recorded and folded towels and pants this morning.

That extra time makes getting out of the house so much less stressfu in the morningl. You have time to handle all those little things that come up without having to be late! You can relax and take care of yourself without forgetting things.

@Dani333

I agree with you totally those extra minutes is such a relief sometimes and do help you relax more. I know here with traffic on the freeways we never know if there will be an accident or not so we need to allow extra time when traveling places so I like to catch up on my magazine reading when waiting for like an appt. Another idea which not sure if you and others thought about this is plan all the non frig/freezer stuff for your lunch the night before, get that out on the counter and set out clothes that you would like to wear. Doing little things, the night before will allow you to do less things in the morning and you will feel better not forgetting things and rushing.

I will stay longer outside, sitting in my chair and let my mind wander. Do that some times.smiley

@amiablePeace77

Sitting outside with all the fresh air helps us relax also and that is great that your mind wanders. Sometimes our minds can come up with some amazing cool things.
