I grew up in a country with 4 seasons, so hearing the sound of birds chirping was a sign that spring is around and temperatures are getting warmer and also summer, my favorite time of the year, was not far away. I loved to listen to the sound of birds chirping.

The sound of thunder in the distance, especially during the hot ,humid summers. You know that rain is coming to cool things off for a little while.

What is your favorite sound and why?
Thunderstorms, including rain - I don't like the sound of running water, though, for example, from a faucet.

Mourning doves, just moved and I miss hearing them, among other things.

We have a similar species here called the wood dove, I find the sound they make is quite calming. Sorry you can't hear them anymore. Are there other nature sounds that feel good to you?

Why? because I see how small they are and God takes care of them.
I like to sit at my table and watch the birds come to my feeder and eat every day or so.
