How seniors and future generations are going to support themselves if Social security is going to run out? The cost of living is rising so high now that many seniors will we be able to maintain a decent and costly living expense. This question seems to get danced around quite a bit but nothing concrete.

@amiablePeace77 I wish social anxiety was represented in a better way,, or more obscure topics where talked about more often. Also, when explaining rules to someone, I think there could be nicer ways to do that! I experienced something rough this morning, and ... the people texting where unconcerned for my feelings. It's almost like they didn't think about how I felt.

I'm very sorry to hear that those people have not been more considerate, a rough tone can be very hurtful, hugs (if accepted). Social anxiety would surely be helpful to make others understand what those suffering from it go through in life.

They're only trying to help and they also get easily annoyed when I don't follow what they say. Angry, even. I'm just being my own person and I'm living feeling like I have my life under my control :)

Moving out of your parents home and getting your own place is a big step in life and I can see that you're nervous about it, I was too when I left home but gladly all turned out well. Thank you for your kind words. In a better mood today. I wish congress would talk more about helping the most needy instead of trying to take more away from them. I mean, tax cuts for the rich only help the rich. Cutting fixed incomes only puts more people in the streets or in graves...

It is sad that childhood sexual abuse has been "swept under the carpet" (particularly with boys) for such a long time!
How couples adapt to each other during aging and the changes they face. How these changes affect day to day mental state.

That is a very interesting topic and affects practically all couples, even if not all in a negative way though. Aging together can have many challenges one never thought about before.
