We often hear about the calming effect of green spaces, and their positive effect on our well-being. Some research shows that walking in nature, particularly in an area with lots of trees can help to reduce cortisol levels—a primary stress hormone.

What are feelings you experience when you are outside in nature and especially in an area with a higher density of trees?

Walking in the woods is so important for me. Lucky to live somewhere with many forests and options for walks. I always come out different than when I went in to the woods. Calming, peaceful, joyous even some days. Love love the woods
