What is something you would have wished someone would have told you when you were a youngster?

Life has its challenging times. Do not be too proud of what you do, people will resent that. 

I would tell them:

If you aren't saving any money, start right effing now. Learn basic finance: how markets work; assets like stocks/ETFs/bonds/metals/mutual & index funds/etc. When you have enough, start investing in non-depreciating assets (such as the above). You don't need a lot to start with; there are robo-advisor accounts with deposit reqs as little as $10--or even one dollar! You have to start now because whatever career you decide on, you are unlikely to get decent retirement benefits from the company you work for. Social Security barely pays anything now, & may not be around when you become too old to work. You must plan for your financial future.

@amiablePeace77 I would say to make as many memories as they can with the people they love cause we lose people in life as we grow up but those memories stay forever :)

Meditation, prayer and exercise are useful for alleviating mental health symptoms. A few people I know had their medication prescription/dosage lowered due to sticking to a regular regimen of exercise.
