Hi and Thanks for asking
I did not have a great Weekend to start with, as my 8 month old Granddaughter has been ill for the past Week and it has been extremely stressful and awful for her and all of us in the Home. It was established on Friday that she has an Ear Infection, so today she has been feeling a little better and more herself which is great all round, (the poor wee thing).
Later today was a little better for me too, I shook myself out of a rut and got outside to tidy up the Garden a little, which is always good for the Soul I think.
Posting a few times and getting Replies always gets one thinking, (which is good of course) because you gain some different perspectives on matters which helps you to look at things in a much different light.
From this, I am reminded that I need to take better care of myself before I am any use to anyone else, that old 'put on your own Oxygen Mask first, when on a Plane'. thingee. So that is what I am doing each day, taking time to do some good things for myself which leaves me happier and more able and willing to help others adequately.
I hope your Weekend is going well also.

@MeaningfulSilence I am at the top of a 3-day weekend, so feeling positive and energized! My plans are to shop for groceries, make a ridiculously huge meal on Sunday and to get my hair cut at some point, if I can talk my stylist into squeezing me into her busy schedule!

The last time I was out was December 23. Going out today in some warmer winter weather. Looking forward to it very much. Maybe a small dinner with some family as well. Trying not to feel the empty feelings instead focus on the warmer fresh snow breeze and some little bit of contentment and gratitude just for that.

I watch movies, usually. I like horror movies and very old movies, foreign movies...
I just watched "Ring" again. Some people call it "Ringu". It's a Japanese horror movie from 1998. It's one of my favorites.

I'm doing better since I decided to move away from my last family member that I speak to. My family is toxic to me, so disconnecting my life from their life is a healthy thing.

Friday night I worked. Saturday I built a shelter for the feral cats in my area. It isn't a permanent one but will get them through the storm and cold weather coming up. Sunday night I'm working.

I got a really sturdy cardboard box at work, and cut a small opening for the cats to get in and out. I then taped all the openings shut. Then covered the box with two big black garbage bags and taped them down. I put two cat beds inside. One is like a cave unto itself. It has a roof and sides. The other is jus a cat bed. I then put a big brick behind the box and faced it toward the house. The cats were using it that night. :)

I'm...okay. To be honest, "things" are okay. My brain doesn't want me to be okay. My brain wants to take me to a place much more negative. And that's irritating. But, I'm working on it, and trying to be more social, to support myself and support others.
I'll be spending some time with family today, though I could probably use a nap, too. :)
