Yes, many, many things. For instance, I have the remains of four pets. I plan to be buried with them when I die. I just hope my wishes get carried out.

I have many things, too. Among them are a statue of Frankenstein's monster that I painted just before I turned 14. That was 47 years ago. I have a cowbell I found on the farm that was left over from my grandfather's time. I grew up on that farm myself, but we didn't have any cows in my time.

i have this broken mug my mom got me 11 years ago, it was so special no one was allowed to drink from it haha and then 5 years ago my dad dropped it, and someone had to repair it. i feel now its repaired and broken it has more value because it shows how much it means.

I could imagine that it is inspiring to play the guitar and maybe singing to the song you play.
Yes. I have two sketches from my club-going days, done a few years apart...they're gesture studies in felt-tip marker. Monetarily they are worth nothing. But I keep them because out of the thousands of sketches I've done, those two are the only ones that turned out almost exactly how I intended them to. In the few seconds I did each one, everything just flowed...not sure how else to explain it. The vast majority of one's work never goes that well on the first try, rest assured.
If you as an artist pull it off once, then you have achieved something. To do it twice...you're not just skilled but d***ed lucky!
I will keep those two scrawls until my last breath.

I can totally relate to what you said about pulling pieces off once. Some of the best creations I did came out "of nowhere", just did them. You described it very well, it's about being in the flow.

I collect rocks while trekking in the mountains.
I have one in particular that reminds me of a wonderful trek to the base of my favorite mountain peaks, Mt. Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre,
The rock is made of the same material as the mountain (very hard pink granite made by slowly cooled magma intrusions) and it has the same form as the mountain.
I have it at my desk right in front of me at all times.

Wow, I read that Mt. Fitz Roy is one of the hardest peaks to climb on the planet, even going to the base must have been tough.

Yes, you are right!
They are very steep. They were not formed by folding but were magma intrusions inside the earth that took millions of years to cool, so the rock had time to assemble a very well-ordered and so very tough crystalline structure that resists erosion.

I have a heart-shaped china jewelry box that my daddy painted "Love Daddy" on the inside of the top before he gave it to me many, many years ago.
