These aren't questions I can answer since the answers have already been forced.
1. Due to chronic conditions (mostly my Meniere's), what I held to for most of my life--my art, & certain crafts--I don't do anywhere near as much of anymore.
2. Because of said conditions, what meant the most to me have been largely taken away.

Sorry to hear that you are suffering from Meniere's disease and that it limits you in doing the things you like. I hope that some of the treatments available will help you to cope and you can continue doing a bit of what you like. What kind of art and craft are you doing (if you feel well)?
@amiablePeace77 When I can, I build canes. It's small-scale woodwork, up to this point...with the 6th one I built, I started using epoxy & powdered plastic (fired polymer clay) as a filler. I will resume that at some point.
When I'm too depressed but not immobilized, or otherwise need to focus, I sometimes work with hemp twine...braiding, mostly, with knotting here & there. I've made two belts that way, in fact. Hemp braid can be used in quite a few projects.
Before I was anything else, though, I was an artist. Started playing with markers not too long after I learned how to walk. I've been drawing things for most of my life. In the last few years, due firstly to environmental/situational requirements & then the onset of my chronic s***, I did a lot of fast gesture sketching with markers & gradually shifted to ink & brush.
Will get back to it all at some point, maybe...

2. What is most precious in life to you? There are things we can learn in life about ourselves and who we are and how to relate to others. Life is happier for me living up to or nearer to my full potential.
