Happy Monday everyone in 50+, hope you all had a good start of the week. Sending you lots of love and smiles from our small island laughheart

I just like to share some thoughts about coloring for adults wink

To me the first thing is - It's simply fun cheeky but there is so much more to it, let's see what I found:

Health Benefits of Coloring for Adults

REDUCE STRESS AND ANXIETY. Coloring has the ability to relax the fear center of your brain, the amygdala. ...

IMPROVE MOTOR SKILLS AND VISION. Coloring goes beyond being a fun activity for relaxation. ...

IMPROVE SLEEP. ...

IMPROVE FOCUS

enlightened How many of you have tried coloring as adults and if you never tried it, would you give it a shot?

@SoulfullyAButterfly I'd like to try it. What kind of coloring materials do you recommend? Crayons? Color pencils?

I color almost everyday. It is good for destressing and also when my mind is racing in all directions to calm it down.

I used to draw a lot as a young person. Now I can't. No talent. And I tried coloring. I did a few pages but it doesn't hold the allure for me that it does for others. Beautiful work though!

@MotherofCats1955

Nice to see you here MotherofCats laugh. I hear you, used to think that it does not make any sense me painting but then I changed to it does not matter, I just do it for fun. Have you ever tried painting with fingers or sponges?

I haven't done any coloring as an adult, though I've recommended it to others. Some of whom actually kept it up. That's a gorgeous collection, though; I might try one.

I love colouring too. It's nice . But now I am trying something called Diamond Dotz . We paste small diamond like stones according to the colour codes given. Time consuming but the end product is worthy of a place in the Living Roomlaugh. This is an example:

How many of you have tried coloring as adults and if you never tried it, would you give it a shot? I have not tried coloring, as I am rather bad at that. I probably would not, judging by the fact that I have several things to color and I haven't had the slightest urge to do so.

@Offmytrack

Sometimes we think we're so bad at something until we tried a number of times and find out, wow, I actually can do this.

Does not work all the time but sometimes it does wink

Not everyone is a "colouring guy" and that's okay, there are so many other things one can do too.
