What do you enjoy most about the holiday season? Watching my family open their presents and stocking. Makes me smile every time.

This year I enjoyed that my teens got a gift they enjoyed and spent hours amicably trading items with each other. One simple gift was a big hit.

I do celebrate Christmas. It's probably the biggest holiday in Sweden (or it's midsummer). We have many traditions. One is thay we always take the tree in the day before christmas eve. We decorate it. We also always eat ham and Jansson's temptation the night before Christmas Eve. We get together on Christmas eve to watch Donald Duck at 3pm (it's been a tradition for ages in Sweden). Then we eat Christmas dinner. We eat ribs, a lot of people eat julbord (it's sort of the same thing as smörgåsbord) with meatballs, ham, sausages, herring, beets, Jansson's temptation, salmon and many othet things. To this we drink julmust. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julmust). Then Santa comes and deliver Christmas gifts.
What do you enjoy most about the holiday season?
I enjoy spending time with my family. Having the time to eat together without stress. When the kids are done they can go play and we can sit and talk and talk.

I think it's a wonderful to enjoy once or twice a year all the traditional goodies , something to look forward to during the rest of the year and just sit down and have a nice chat with each other. .

The only traditional food I had this year was fried dough (like doughnuts) and blueberry pancakes. Non traditional: hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and apple crisp.
Decorating the house, then driving around the neighborhood to see what everyone else has done.

Nice that you enjoy putting out your Christmas decorations, it can be so much fun particularly when you see others do it too, almost like creating a small Santa Claus village
I have 4 grown Daughters and everyone are doing well even tho I didnt get to see anyone this year. I am grateful for a healthy family :)

Sometimes we fall back into behaviours we tried to exclude in our lives, I hope you're okay now.
I find art is always a wonderful way to express yourself.
