Hi, returning here for support.
Lost my job friday. It was tied to the auto industry.
It was apx a year ago that I was here with both unemployment and major depression.
I do not have family, a significant other, or anyone that I can really share what is going on inside. I do have faith, but no love to give today

@amiablePeace77 . Today I actually helped to order and distribute some fresh fruits and vegetables to some aquintances in my neighbourhood. I was glad I was able to do that .

I'm sending some cards out in the mail this week for birthdays, and just to say "hey" to friends, too.

What a lovely idea! It seems to become rare to receive a real physical card with greetings from someone, I am sure it will put a big smile on their faces.

It's EXTREMELY rare to get cards any more. I love giving (and getting) them. I think it shows a little more thoughtfulness than "oh - Facebook reminded me that it was your birthday, so hey, happ birthday." Not that I'm bashing Facebook birthday wishes - I do digital well-wishing, too, but there's something just nicer about a real card.
@thoughtfulmomma. You are so right. I love receiving cards more so if they are home made. It's nice to collect and look at them on days I am cleaning or airing my ' treasure box' .
