Life is not always rainbows and butterflies. There are times we get sad, overwhelmed with uncertainty, stressed and anxious. The only thing we might see are the dark clouds and it’s so hard to focus on seeing what else is there and be conscientious of how precious life is, be aware that nothing is permanent, not even the misery we might be facing.

Finding a clear path, being able to see how the steps you are taking will lead to desired change is critical to having hope. When you are in despair, taking one step that is out of your routine can help break the sense of powerlessness you have. You might not be able to heal yourself immediately but you can contribute to it by starting the day with a voice of compassion and kindness - be the best friend to yourself you ever wanted to have. Kindness is giving hope to those who think they are all alone in this world.

Let your hopes not your hurts build your future.
