Well I work all weekend so mine would be work related. I can buy myself something really nice to eat for lunch.
As for as doing something good I can give the family members a extra five minutes to visit with their sick love ones in the Critical Care Unit since Im the one who monitor the doors.
@Favor2020- how thoughtful to let family stay longer with their loved ones.

5 min. extra visit in critical care unit is avery nice gift, people will be very thankful for those precious minutes.

Wow- hard to believe it is going to be another weekend. Doesn't matter as much when one is retired. I will be returning to the mainland to see and maybe ride MY new horse. Yes, I am replacing my lesson horses. A great way to move through the dark winter months- horse shopping.

Great plans for the weekend, I hope everything works out like you wanted.
I'm going to a concert tonight with my husband. We try to have dates at least a couple of times a month. I'm 55 and we have been together for 36 years. We have a 21 year old son and an almost 18 year old daughter. We get along as well as any that have held out this long :--). Going to movies and concerts have helped to keep the friendship portion of our marriage going. Many of us know that staying friends after all these years isn't easy so this is something we are working on.

Wow, 36 years, congratulations! Not many couples are able to keep their marriage "alive" like you do. I believe doing things together is very bonding.

Thanks. It was a good concert. My husband and I spent so many years being frugal and then one day I decided when it came to concerts, musicals or shows, I would never let the $$ dictate whether we would go or not. I would never spend that kind of money on clothes or other things, but being able to do this together gives us something to do, talk about and just be together. Staying friends is important and these outings help.

I heard about 7 cups on NPR during a time when I really needed support. I come and go on this group and yes it is very uplifting. I have found some good support here and try to offer mine too. Welcome.
