Two activities that increase my mood and energize me: Playing with my dogs. They are my babies!!! Also, I’ve started building Lego. Love it. Very Mindful.

Aww, sweet, dogs are just bringing joy into everyone's life naturally It's amazing what one can do with all these Adult Lego Sets and I bet it helps to improve focus. What are you building right now?
My sister and brother-in-law gave me the Colosseum as a retirement gift. I’m enjoying it a lot!! I’ve only been out of the US once, I went to Rome and Venice (50th birthday). So I’ve been to the Colosseum. Building it is so fun!!
I love gardening too because my plants are my babies and I tend to them from my heart* and of course one is closest to God in the garden🌹🌈🌹 2ndly I am passionate about traveling... Swells my heart ♥ and soul and gives me wings.

@amiablePeace77, I love gardening, too, for so many reasons. I can be in the sun, and have my hands in the soil, and give things love and a chance to grow so I can eat them :) or just look at them because they're beautiful, or cut them and give tthem as gifts. It's totally zen for me.
I also love to walk outdoors because I can see plants and animals and flowers and water and feel the sun and get exercise and take pictures. :)

Bike riding is fun. I live near Lake Michigan and there are a few trails in the state park along the lake.
Writing, when I can bring myself to do it, helps. A couple of months ago I wrote a "testimonial" of my childhood abuse and it felt good to put it down like that. I shared it with my therapist - she read it, then I read it to her, and she later read it to me. It's a strange feeling to have it read back to you when it's your most personal story, especially because she's a woman and I'm a man, but it was good for me, I think. I'd like to share it with others, too, but it's graphic, so I have to be careful.
I've written a few horror stories, but only one of them seems to be any good. I don't have anyone to read it, though. I want to be careful with that, too.

I can imagine that it wasn't easy for you to write this"testimonial" of your childhood abuse but I'm glad it helped! I wish there was no childhood abuse in this world.
