@amiablePeace77 What a good question. My current age would be fine. I'm old enough to have gained a lot of knowledge and understanding. I'm also past all my foolishness, unchecked mental illness, and pain that crushed me. I would never want to go back to an earlier age. I would never want to relive any of it. I'm at a point where I am crawling out of the pit of despair. Thats a good starting point to me.

@anonymouslistener23, I'm at peace with the world? nah. I just know i wouldn't go back and I don't want to go forward. Thanks for the support, though.

Not sure of nice number, but that point where you knew enough, and trusted, and had confidence... just before you realize the whole world is shheet.

A very good question. I have thought all the way back to being a child, and I find that I would only choose to be immortal if my fiance would be immortal as well. Or perhaps my late wife, but she had so many health problems that I would not wish upon anyone.

Specific number would be 37. Old enough to have gained some wisdom, but young enough to still enjoy life, in any way you choose.

Nice to see you Lauren! Seems you had a great time at that age With 37 the body was still more than it is today (for me).
I'm not sure If I would want to choose. But If I had to pry 25 or 26.

Honestly I think I would like to be about 5 years younger than I am now when it was easier to lose weight, although I was struggling more with menopause then. I am okay with where I am and at the same time I wish I had my act together more, just have to hold myself with compassion and accept what is. I guess I need to claim my own magnificence more, like that Marianne Williamson quote.

Being compassionate to yourself helps to overcome so many things in life.
When aging our metabolism slows down and it's easier to put on some weight just. It's not like when young and one could have a few treats and just run it off. What helps me is a good workout plan which included strength training twice a week.
It's long past, but the age of 25. Physically and such, it was a much better age than I am now, with nothing functioning the way it's supposed to anymore.

Sorry to hear that your current age is challenging. When young usually the body works with more ease but when aging, parts start to wear out .Hope you're getting around okay though.

At 21 everything was still in front of us, not so many responsibilities, bones were not aching and and and

Hugs Dina, it seems that you had a rough life in the past. I hope that you find support here to deal with all what might be still present from the past in your mind and that the future will be easier for you. It is not possible to just delete things which hurt us in the past but I hope you came or are coming to terms with them and enjoy the now.
