This Sunday May 9 many countries in this world celebrate Mother’s Day.
Mother's Day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of the world to express respect, honor, and love towards mothers. Our mothers carried us for 9 months, bore the pains of pregnancy, went through tremendous pains whilst giving birth to us, without them, none of us would have seen the light of this world. Then she fed us and kept us clean and helped us grow up to adulthood. No matter what our relationship with our mother now, without her help we could never have survived.
What was the nicest moment/time you spent with your mother, what was her greatest gift?

Hi, welcome. You are in the community for this group. In here, we post to various topics, things that are already posted and reply as I am doing to you. I am glad you have found us in here. It is a good group in here.
There is somewhere up top, somewhere under a main thing for welcome or for newbies, if I am remembering correctly, But, somewhere under something like that, there you can read about this community room and in there, is a list of pop-up chat rooms for the 50+, 35+, and mindfulness community groups. If you can not find that posted list for these pop-up chat roooms in here, I know it is definitely in the mindfulness community, up top, under the things I suggested to look under. This list you can find, will show when the pop-up chat rooms for these 3 communities opens up within the regular chat rooms. Usually when these certain pop-up rooms open up, they are usually only open to chat in for about an hour for most and an hour an a half for a few other ones, I believe.
You can also create a separate post in here for your own topic and have it in the category you want to post to go into.
But, if you can find where that into for the room info is for each community room, that will answer a lot. I hope that others will also see your post here and maybe reply to you and maybe have more or better info than I have.
Message my back by replying in here and just make sure you incude the at sign, @, followed by my full chat name, with no spaces for any of it. You can do that for everybody in any community forum. Then, they will know that they are tagged in a message, will have a link, and can find your reply or post, with the @ sign and their name.

What was the nicest moment/time you spent with your mother, what was her greatest gift?
I'm not really sure how to answer this for me. If you were asking about my father, I would have trouble finding limited wonderful nice moments/times to share.
I will try. I know of 2 good things. One year, on Christmas day, my father and sister went somewhere together, which was very, very unusual. It left my mother and I at home, by ourselves together. We didn't know how to handle this, with us alone with time, and my mother not just being with my sister. So, we finally came up with the idea to go to the movies, almost across the road at a mall, and see a movie, as we did not know or ever talk to each other about anything. I do not know what movie we did see, and that didn't even matter. But, at least she and I were able to do something together that was normal. We were quiet all the time, before the movie, during the movie (of course) and afterward, while we were there by ourself together. It was very weird too. I still remember how weird, uncomfortable, strange, etc it was for both of us. But, that was a normal thing that we did get to do.
The greatest gift I learned from my mother was to be more of a peacemaker for keeping people happy. She went to great extents to do that with my sister and father and worked so hard at that all her life. I wish she would have been able to be happier herself without trying so hard to please them all the time. I loved her.

Unfortunately, most of my memories of my mother are unpleasant.
I will share a moment that was a special Mother's Day for me -
I had just given birth to my daughter 3 days before and had just come home from the hospital. My son (who was 3 at the time) ran into my bedroom, holding some flowers (dandelions) he had picked from the yard. He was so excited! He told me that it was an extra special Mommy's Day because now our family was bigger and we had a new baby sissy.
Warmed my heart 
I have no good memories of my own mother, so Mother's Day has always been complicated for me. However, I have been blessed with two children of my own, and memories of our times together are among the greatest treasures I keep with me now. Among my favorites are the swimming lessons I gave them both as tiny babies, when we lived in Waialua, HI, back in the 70's. Outside our back door was a rock formation that created tidal pools galore, each of which had its own kind of ecosystem. And as these amazing kids learned to swim, they also learned their colors, and the names of the little fishes they swam with. I can't remember the names, but to this day (they're in their 40's now) they remember each one.

I spent Saturday with mom and we laughed and shared memories. those are the wonderful times.
