How do you handle changes?
I went to a store to buy food but it was in a different city and different store. I couldn’t find anything and it was full with people. Once I came out I was about to get a panic attack. I don’t know what triggered but it was terrible. Any of you had similar experiences? Have a great day!
@kala Sometimes panic attacks are triggered by completely subconcious reasons. Personally at some point i felt like I couldn't breathe normally and experienced the same thing. Iw as worried I may be having a panic attack. it can happen to anyone dear and for no obvious reasons as they may be hiding in your subconcious. Panic attacks can be dealt with. Please don't hesitate toconnect with a therapist or listner to talk about it! We're here for you! Thank you for sharing.
@kala I once had a panick attack when I first go to school after 2 years, most of the people in there were new to my and I don’t know what happened but I started to shake and feeling a pain in my chest and my eyes were a little wet. What I did was to start breathing, calming down and think about what was happening, it was an inner and logical thinking that pull me out of that situation. Still some time to time I feel like that time to this days but is not that frecuent. I can recommend to you that you can start to write whatever is on your mind in a piece of paper and start looking to that in a “logical way”, until what you wrote ends in a single sentence. Hope this helps and have a nice day! 🌿🌱

This must have been terrible for you, hugs! Everything was new and you might not have felt safe and comfortable when entering the shop and then all the energy from so many people. It can become overwhelming and it happened to me too that I got overstimulated. Usually I avoid crowds in shops but if I can't mantras like "I can do this" or listening to a calming meditation music whilst shopping helps me.

That’s a great idea actually. I will bring my headset next time. 🤗🤗Thank you
@kala
I hope it helps you as much as it helps me kala.
@kala So sorry that happened to you.
What have you tried in the past, for your panic attacks, kala?
Was it helpful to you?
@calmMango9611
Cold water on my arms and face usually helps and running water.
@kala Glad to hear that.
Changes that are or have to be done I am ok with for the most part. However, if the change is a no time to process, I feel like I am spinning out of control and get a rush of multiple feelings.

I feel it's easier to accept changes when we understand that they need to be done. I hope that in future you will manage the others better so that you can stay calm and balanced. Something that works for me with changes are mantras like "I can get through this".
@amiablePeace77 Great point.
Thanks for raising this point.
I am a failure at dealing with changes, I can barely handle one small change. The problem is that around me it seems too many big changes are constantly happening and it is overwhelming.
