Physically I keep myself as fit as I can, physical employment, twice daily Pilates based mobility sessions (arthritis), daily run at the gym and lots of walks. I'll build some low resistance high rep exercises when I do retire a I'll loose all the lifting and bending I do at work.

I've got a very active mind and a thirst for knowledge, particularly scientific and medical/fitness related, constantly reading and researching, I love it and hope that thirst never changes.

Psychologically it is much more of a challenge but I have certainly been taking steps to change that. I have been dreading retirement for years.

It’s kind of hard to do that. Just tell my parents, I can’t always be here to do this and that. Furthermore, not let their comments get to me. It’s hard, as I manage chronic fatigue from depression and anxiety. While, my faith has slowly healed my anxiety, I need to keep holding on and not be quick to anger at the people around me. I apologize to make it long. But overall, establish boundaries to break codependency and generational hardships.
