There's a beautiful botanical garden close to my house so I'll probably go there and ask the gardener if they're open to being donated a plant. My rubber ficus is thriving and I'd love to donate a part of it back to Mother Earth.

I wanted to plant this week, but we unfortunately just had another frost, so I have nothing I can do in that respect. I'd like to put some trees where we can no longer plant for our garden.
I think instead I will clean out my closet and donate clothes I don't wear anymore. Take them to the thrift store, and look at some blankets and sweaters I can repurpose into yarn for other projects. I love thrifting. I'm buying products that already exist instead of consuming more new products and creating more waste. It's also nice with clothing because you have more access to natural fibers and less time is spent wearing microplastics. :(

How are you honoring Mother Earth Day?
I recently heard that using the AC, especially a lot, even when it’s hot enough to warrant using it, can or does contribute to environmental problems.
Idk if it depends on anything specific bc the person who told me this didn’t specify any specific factors that caused this.
But I still don’t use the AC bc I don’t wanna risk contributing to problems in the environment.
That’s one of the ways I honor Mother Earth.
