Resilience

Daily Check-In June 6th to June 8th2025

Resilience is the ability to cope and recover from any setbacks. You boost your resiilence by using  coping skills, social support and positive views you have of yourself. Some pyscological resilience are using skills and strengths to respond to life's challenges.

Some examples are:

death of a loved one

divorce

fianancial issues

illnesses

job loss

medical emergiences

disasters 

Instead of us falling down or disappear we should handle it head on. Resilient people have a different number of characteristics such as:

survivor mentality-

A person knows when things are not going right but continue to strive ahead to make it better.

Emotional regulation-

Resilience is when we can have the ability to manage emotions in the face of stress.

Feeling in control-

A resilient person have a strong internal locus of control. Theri actions determine the outcome of a situation.

Problem - solving skills-

when a certain problem arise a resilience person will look at the siutation and rationally solve it. 

Self-Compassion- 

Two other signs of resilience is self-acceptance and self-compassion. You begin to treat yourself with kindness

Social Support-

When we have a solid support from others we can accomplish alot, we know where to ask for help and from who.
