I tend to not read into too much or spend too much time watching the news.

Everything in moderation.

I like to have some spontaneity in my week and listening to music is my go to and a whole lot of football 🩷🤗

I'm trying to intersperse meditating in smaller amounts of time.

Recently I have moderated my focus on things to ensure I don’t lose the moment of now. I started slowing things and my focus was on not distracting myself. Hyper focus can create stress cuz of the tension and once that stress fades away then your body and mind feels exhausted. Pause, close your eyes and relax. Breathe. If you have no deadline to meet then do it slowly. Enjoy the moment by having coffee, music, a movie. I love relaxing by doing my nails or face/skin cate routines 😊

I don't go into social media unless i have to and i have a timer so I don't waste too much time there

How do you minimize information overload and keep your focus on the here and now?

One rule of thumb for you: avoid "social media". Note the quotes...it's really antisocial media. X/Twatter & Bluehair*, in particular, are built to bring out the worst in their users. Most of the information you'll encounter on Faceblech, Instaspam & other platforms is incomplete at best & distorted/slanted towards a particular bias, only half-true, inaccurate or straight-up false at worst. Stay off antisocial media & avoid getting drawn into the endless stale tribal fight-noise online, & information overload should not be a problem.
