Hello, it is the week-end Check-In 50+ sub-Community Nov 25th-27th
I hope the Thanksgiving holiday went well for everyone. Today we will be using our creative minds to add two sentences to this story.

STORY TELLING:
Once upon a time there was this dog who appeared to be lost, I slowly moved toward the dog as he stood there wagging his tail. He did not have a collar on, so I took him home with me.
He appeared to be so happy, he just ran around my house playing so excitedly. I could tell he had been lost for a while. I put him in the tub and cleaned him up. I gave him a big bowl of food and soon he had curled up and went to sleep.

Odie was glad to have found a place to stay and was hoping that he could stay in this place. It was warm, there was enough food and the owner of the house appeared to be very friendly. All over sudden he heard someone knocking at the door (to be continued by next person)

Odie walked cautiously along side of his new owner as he answered the door. It was a little girl looking for her lost dog.
The little girl was so excited to see Odie and so was Odie. Odie ran into her arms and they looked so happy together. But then something funny happened. Odie went back inside and the little girl followed Odie.

The little girl got some freshly made cookies out from the owen. And Odi got a new ball.
And they spent the whole afternoon playing and telling stories. When it was time to go home, Odie and the little girl promised to come back the next day.
I found a toy and watched the dog play with it.
Oh and we stayed up half the night curled up in the recliner watching tv

The next day the little girl and her parents returned to the house of the owner that had found Odie, to tell him how much they appreciated him taking in their dog and taking care of him.
@scarletPear1945 It turns out the owner was a not too distant relative and so when they arrived to thank them they were really surprised and pleased to find that they had a relative living nearby.

With Thanksgiving upon them, the family invited Mr. Rodgers to come home and have dinner with them. Mr Rodgers kindly accepted the invitation.

The dinner turned out amazingly. There was plenty of tasty food - pumpkin pies, baked sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, broccoli and spicy soja sausages! Everyone loved it and enjoyed themselves, eating and listening to beautiful music. However, all over sudden Odie started to bark! "Why are you barking so loud" , Mr. Rogers asked Odie.

I read your dream and had to laugh a little bit. When I was in my 20th I took a class in oil-painting. I painted a picture (I have it in the room where I sleep) that Pablo Picasso has painted. It is a woman standing in a room in her long, white dress and her nice hat situated on the floor. She is standing in a dark room and outside there is light in the distance.
