@lucy2 why

User Profile: lucy2

@TreaureSeekers3

Because lots of people and places are closed for at least part of the weekend, no mail delivery Sundays's and I'm unable to contact some because they have the weekend off, roll on Monday that's what I say laugh

@lucy2 If I have something specific that makes me dread the weekend, then yes. When I have had really bad jobs I'd both look forward to and dread the weekend: looking forward to getting away but knowing the next work week was just a little closer.

At the moment I'm still adjusting to a new job (that I like so far but at the same time I'm trying to keep my eyes open) and weekends are precious for self-care, running errands and basically lounging around in my PJs.

@lucy2

Hi Lucy, I do love my weekends because I will talk to my best friends in my country of birth and I usually also plan something interesting to do, even if it is a small project the house or something creative.

Hi Hemlock, sometimes week days can be real tough and weekends are a good opportunity to energize the body and do things we like to get balance.

The weekend means I wont talk to anyone for several days. And since no one at 7cups talks to me anymore. It is the great silence. But thats fine. Kinda nice. No one cares and vice versa.

@Lauren63 I care and there's people here will care too. I know the feeling when you get ignored in other chatrooms and it's not fair .That's why I don't ignore anyone and say hi. There's always someone what does care so please don't give up on here .

Im on two weeks holiday from work so will be going away this week coming but today my weekend won't be up to much. I'm waiting for friend to reply . Not sure if she can still meet up cuz not heard back and my mum's at work so on my own again. No meet ups around me today so what can I do when I got all this time off but got no one or anything to share with or do? I know I can do things around the house . Will need to go out at some point. Can't stay in . Anyone got this problem also? I won't be doing nothing and hate not doing nothing. Get depressed and lonely.

@TreaureSeekers3

It can be very frustrating to wait for friends to get out of the house and enjoy an activity. I can understand that it makes you feel lonely and depressed when it is not happening. Hey, it can really help to get an emergency plan, so if noone is available what to do smiley. What are some things you like and can do?

@amiablePeace77 I like anything . Things I do in spare time is listening to music, reading, talking to friends over internet, chilling, watching TV. I like going out and going shopping. Going to new places, going cinema, walking, clubbing, drinking and dancing. Keeping active . I have no hobbies but next week hoping to go to my first meet up.
