Does the weekend fill you with dread or....
Do you always make sure you have time for fun and time to wind down?

My weekends are my happy time. In general, Saturday has always been laundry, yard work, and free time for myself; Sunday has always been grocery shopping.
Lately, I am spending as much of my weekend with my girl friend as possible. I still have time to do chores on Saturday and shopping on Sunday, but I get a lot of time to just be with my girlfriend, do things with her, make her happy.
I think if you are active and have hobbies you will not be scared in front of weekend.
when I just got retired, I did not know what to do with so many free time, I was kind of desperate and felt lack of energy. but now i am going swimming pool and Pilates, meet friends. I start took vitamins for energy and better memory.
here link, maybe it will helps someone as like it helps t to me.

Hah, the weekends hold no dread for me. I sort of dread the work week, but I deal with it. Weekends are full of chores and things to do, and that helps my depression.
Weekends have no agenda. I enjoy them; boating and a bunch of grand children that teach me something new all the time. Latest lesson, "give them back on Sunday"
The weekend simultaneously fills me with hope and dread. I can't wait to get to it because I typically get to be by myself longer and wind down from the school week, but it fills me with dread because I never feel on top of things and every weekend that passes reminds me of a deadline coming up for school or everything I have to do next week. It's a reprieve from life, but it's way too short and I often feel underlying anxiety while I relax during the weekend.
I dislike weekends, as it gives me too much time to think! I suffer with social anxiety, and cant go out much, especially on my own where theres crowds. I work 5 days a week, but thankfully im self employed, so im not really mixing with lots of people.im supposed to be going on holiday nxt yr, with my daughter, which im dreading, as havent been on holiday in over 40 yrs, il b out of my comfort zone, but i dont want to let my daughter down. Shes aware what im like, but ive told her im going. I cant sleep wirrying about it, anyone else been in this situation? Im having counselling, but im struggling
@Soppydog Hi, I used to have social anxiety with men. I'm sorry to hear about what you are going thru. I hope that the therapy will be helpful for you.
The weekend always fills me with joy. I spend my weekends with my girlfriend, except when I go skiing like next weekend.
Are you, I love the weekend! Since I have to work all week, I look forward to the weekend to rest. I constantly rent a car Evolve , because I still do not have my own, and we go with my family to the country. From the cottage we can go anywhere. This gives me a boost of energy and strength for the next week. I drive a car very well!
